Conrad recently completed a total overhaul of our downtown business district! This project is a result of a collaborative effort between our local Economic Development Committee, our Chamber-Main Street Board, the City Council, and business owners.

With a CDBG Grant of $500,000,  a 30% match from City Council, and a contribution of up to 10% by local business owners, nearly $800,000 was invested to rehab 22 store fronts and 4 rear facades. This investment completely transformed Conrad's Downtown Business District while maintaining the historic integrity of the buildings!
