Conrad Chamber-Main Street has a nine-member volunteer Board of Directors. The Board of Directors governs the program and is responsible for establishing and nurturing a cooperative attitude between public and private sectors in the community.
The board has ultimate responsibility and accountability for the Chamber-Main Street program and represents the larger view of why community revitalization is crucial for Conrad.
The Board serves as a private-sector advocate of revitalization to ensure an understanding of the principles of Main Street, community acceptance and involvement in the process, private-sector commitment to revitalization, and ongoing private-sector initiative.
